Google Sheets now offers Sheets canvas, an AI-powered feature using the Gemini 3.8 Flash model that lets users describe in natural language how to transform spreadsheet data into interactive visual layouts like Kanban boards, dashboards, scenario models, schedules, priority matrices, and brainstorm boards. Edits made in these visual layouts, such as dragging a task card or adjusting a score, automatically update the underlying spreadsheet cells in real time, and the apps are shared using standard spreadsheet file permissions.
