Amazon EC2

You can now launch Amazon EC2 T8i instances built on sixth generation Intel Xeon 6 processors and Nitro cards, offering up to 30% better price performance, 70% higher compute performance, 1.25x higher network bandwidth, and 2.4x higher EBS bandwidth than T3 instances. Existing T3 customers can upgrade to T8i using the same CPU credit system with Standard and Unlimited modes to immediately lower TCO, and T8i.micro and T8i.small are available under the AWS Free Tier.

Matters for: Teams running low to moderate CPU workloads like small databases, CI/CD pipelines, and low traffic websites who currently use T3 instances or are migrating from on-premises infrastructure.
