Alchemy

Alchemy now offers getTokenAccountsByOwnerAtSlot, a new RPC method that returns a Solana wallet's token accounts, balances, and lamports as of any past slot in a single call, backed by a continuously built historical index. Previously, getting a historical balance required replaying a wallet's full signature and transaction history slot by slot, which could take thousands of calls; this method is available now on the standard Solana mainnet endpoint using an existing Alchemy API key, with no changes required for existing getTokenAccountsByOwner usage.

Matters for: Engineers building Solana portfolio/PnL tracking, tax and cost-basis reporting, or forensic and incident analysis tools that need exact historical token balances for SPL Token and Token-2022 wallets.

Developers can now use Alchemy's RPC and WebSockets, webhooks, gasless transactions, and data APIs directly on Robinhood Chain instead of assembling separate node, indexing, and gas-sponsorship providers for the new network.

Matters for: Teams building tokenized real-world-asset apps such as equities, ETPs, and private-asset trading on Robinhood Chain's Arbitrum Orbit-based Layer-2.
